Interactive lectures
Survey tools 2.0
A live vote during a lecture can be very interactive. When using the survey tools presented here everyone can contribute rather than only a handful of students.
Online voting
In online-based voting, students use their own devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.) to answer the question via a secure web connection.
KlickerUZH
The mobile voting system was developed by the University of Zurich and offers all the functions necessary for voting in the lecture hall.
Further information can be found at KlickerUZH.
OnlineTED
OnlineTED is a web-based voting system for conducting live surveys during lectures. With OnlineTED, students can be actively involved in the classroom - in real time. The service is subject to a charge.
Other possibilities
The list is not exhaustive. There are numerous web-based ways to make lectures interactive. Another is, for example, the use of Mentimeter.
